About Advocacy

Everyone should be involved in the world around them, and those of us working with children doubly so. Here we'll keep you updated on any new issues, studies, or government actions about which we feel strongly.

Zero to Three: Public Policy
Research shows that experiences in the earliest years of life play a critical role in a child’s ability to grow up healthy and ready to learn.  When early experiences fail to support infants or toddlers, their ability to learn, grow, and succeed is compromised. Unfortunately, the needs of infants and toddlers are seldom sufficiently addressed in public policy.  That’s why the ZERO TO THREE Policy Center exists.  The Policy Center is a research-based, non-partisan program that brings the voice of babies and toddlers to public policy.
