Job Opening: Clinical Director |
Well Baby Center, a nonprofit agency providing services for young children and their families, is looking for a clinical director. The Mar Vista center will open in the fall of 2009. Their multidisicplinary staff will offer Reflective and Mindful Parenting groups and a therapeutic toddler/parent group.
The position will require the director to oversee clinical staff and clinical operations as well as consult with the director on hiring, budgeting, programming, and outreach decisions. The hours will be 20-30 hours per week.

The Well Baby Center, a new mental health center in Mar Vista area serving families with children 0-5yrs seeks licensed Physical Therapist as consultant and service provider for families participating in year-long weekly parent-child group for children with developmental delays. The Physical Therapist will provide services as needed to group participants and must also be available to provide clinical services to individual clients at the center facility.
Qualifications: · Must hold a valid CA state license as a Physical Therapist · Must have specialized training in pediatric physical therapy, especially in working with children 18 months - 3+ years old. · Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as part of their internship or in the field.

Qualifications: · Must hold a valid CA state license as a Speech and Language Pathologist · Must have specialized training in pediatric speech therapy, especially in working with children 18 months - 3+ years old · Must be either certified in or familiar with the Hanen speech pathology approach · Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as part of their internship or in the field

Congregation Ner Tamid Preschool is starting a Baby and Me class, for parents and infants though walking. I am looking for a teacher/co facilitator. The class would be for 1 hour or longer, depending on the group. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to help us establish a parenting center, or just to teach 1 class a week. The families are interested in getting together, some play time for their children, music and some time to discuss parenting issues.
